All prices you list on MyKitPlace.com should be the total price the hirer needs to pay.
As this is a community of individuals, most gear owners and hirers will not be VAT registered, so it’s clearer if all prices listed are the total.
If you are VAT registered, you will need to take the VAT component into account when setting your pricing. Though It is worth mentioning in your listing that the price includes VAT. This means that if your hirer is also VAT registered then they will be able to get a VAT invoice from you and reclaim the VAT. This makes you more attractive to VAT registered hirers.
You will need to generate the VAT invoice if requested. MyKitPlace.com is an agent for the transaction, not the client for VAT purposes. MyKitPlace.com’s commission charge though includes VAT, and we will issue a VAT invoice to you for this.
