Once you have set up your profile you may choose to list your kit for rental. You can do this easily from either the ‘My Listings’ tab on the User Dashboard or you can access the item category page directly from the drop down menu located in the top right of screen, where you can ‘Manage’ listings.

On the ‘My Listings’ page, to add a listing choose the appropriate item category and then hit the “+ New (item)” button in the top right. Complete the corresponding form with as many details as you like – remember to include all the required field elements and to check you have completed all the form pages, these are divided by tabs at the top. Once complete, hit the ‘Save’ button and the item will appear as listed in your profile.

You can edit the listing at any time by selecting ‘Edit’ or view it on the site, by selecting the image or listing title.

Things to consider when listing:

• Check what is currently available in your area. How does your item or package compare? Are there many similar items?
• Think about how to price your listing. See our guide here. 
• Think about offering a package as well as individual items.
• Think about what accessories the item needs for it to be a functional piece of kit, you wouldn’t hire a camera with only one battery and no charger, so be sure to make your hire items a complete and usable offering.
• Add a detailed description. You love your kit, so tell others why it’s good.
• Add good quality photos
• Be honest – if something doesn’t quite work or you have a known issue with an item, put that in the listing. It may not matter to your renter, they may be happy to work around it like you do. It best to be upfront about it rather than run into complications further down the line.
