MyKitPlace Hire Agreement

Once a rental has been agreed and confirmed, MyKitPlace will be in touch to provide the kit Owner with a copy of the Hire Agreement.

This document outlines the conditions of the hire and lays down the who is responsible for what and the liability of the kit Hirer, kit Owner and MyKitPlace. It will state the dates of hire, who is hiring and from whom and outlines exactly what kit is being hired. We based these conditions on our standard industry agreement that we use with The Gear Factory and ensured it covers all aspects of your hire through MyKitPlace.com.

Each Hire Agreement will be specific to each hire, and while we do our best to ensure it is accurate, we recommend that you check through the details, and especially the kit list, to ensure everything that you send out is listed.  You can amend the document as necessary.

At the point of hire

You will need to take a printed copy of the Hire Agreement with to your pick-up point. You should have the Hirer sign the agreement and keep this copy. The Hirer does not need a copy of the agreement but may request one. By signing the Hire Agreement they commit to being bound by its conditions and thereby better protecting your interests, therefore it’s vital you do not neglect to undergo this process.

If for whatever reason you do not receive a Hire Agreement from MyKitPlace, you can download a blank version from the link below and amend the dates, names and kit list as required for your hire.
