Cancelling a rental

If you need to cancel your rental you can do so at any time via the ‘My Orders’ pages in your profile. However, if you have confirmed and paid for the rental there are cancellation fees applicable the closer to the rental date you get. If you do no have a confirmed booking you will not have made payment, there are no fees and no obligation.

If you have made a confirmed booking and you need to change your plans and cancel the booking, the following fees apply. We impose these fees in order to make it fair to the owner who may have lost out on other business due to your booking.

Cancellations fees:

  • Within 24 hours of the hire date – Renter pays 100% of the rental fee

If the kit Owner decides to cancel your hire at any time, you will receive 100% of the funds back.

The system does not currently allow for you to move the dates of a hire, once a hire is agreed if you or the owner need to adjust the dates you will need to either cancel the hire and rebook it or make an alternative arrangement with each other.
