Messaging through MyKitPlace

MyKitplace provides a messaging system in order for members to connect with each other once a booking request has been made.

Currently, you are only able to contact the other party once a booking has been requested. You cannot message a member before this time.

Why is messaging via the site important? 

  • It keeps all your correspondence about a hire in one place so it’s easy to find and reference.
  • As long as you’ve added your phone number to your profile you will be notified via text when you have a new message so always know when you need to respond.
  • Responding through the messaging system ensures that your booking request remains active.
  • If there is any dispute it is easier for MyKitPlace admins to see the correspondence if required and see exactly what was said. Messaging outside the system means we less able to help you in this regard.
