Noticing damage or kit is not as described

As the renting party, you are responsible for the kit when it’s in your care. Therefore, be sure to check the kit with the owner at the meet up when you collect the kit. Schedule time to do this thoroughly and ask the owner any questions regarding operation and maintenance if you are unsure.

If you find that the equipment is faulty, doesn’t work or is not as described, you must tell the owner. If the kit is still usable for your purposes you may wish to proceed with the hire, but do not feel obligated to do so. You should notify hello@mykitplace.com immediately that you are dissatisfied and the reasons why. If you can, please supply photos or video footage to support your claim. If you are unable to use the items you must tell MyKitPlace and we will do our best to provide you with an alternative kit ASAP from another member or from another source.
Leave a negative review for the owner so that other members know the potential problems associated with this kit.

If you only notice a malfunction with your kit after you have collected it, please notify the owner immediately. If they are unable to offer a solution please contact hello@mykitplace.com and we will respond and investigate ASAP.
