Changing dates, availability and cancellations

You have total freedom to list, de-list and control the availability of the kit on your profile. Once a rental has been agreed however you cannot change the kit availability without giving fair notice to the renter and notifying them of your intention.

You can cancel a hire anytime but be aware that doing so may impact negatively on your MyKitPlace profile. As Owner when you cancel a hire 100% of the fee is returned to the Renter.

The system does not currently allow for you to move the dates of a hire. Once a hire is agreed if you or the renter need to adjust the dates you will need to either cancel the hire and rebook it or make an alternative arrangement with each other.

The Renter is liable for 100% of the hire fee if they cancel within 24 hours of the hire period. Therefore good communication is required between the two parties to avoid unwanted cancellations.
